Our office uses a computer-based method to store medical records and charts. Each patient is required to fill out a medical history online prior to her visit. If you have completed the online history before, you do not need to do it again.
You should have received a unique username and password from our office that will allow you to log in to DigiChart. If you haven’t received this information, please contact our office at (540) 951-1550. Before your scheduled appointment, we would like for you to visit https://patients.digichart.com (or click on the DigiChart tab above) to enter your detailed medical history. This should take 20-30 minutes. It is essential for patients to complete their history in advance to facilitate a worthwhile and efficient meeting with their medical provider. The information you provide is secure and protected, and complies with all federal and HIPAA regulations. No one outside of our practice can access our patients’ records.
For those who do not have access to the internet at home or work, internet access can be obtained free of charge at all local public libraries. We also provide workstations for history entry at our office, but use of these workstations requires that you arrive 40 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
We see all patients by appointment. Appointments may be requested in person or by telephone. Our office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Because the most common complaint that patients have about their doctors’ offices is wait time, we make a concerted effort to respect our patients’ time, and keep our schedules running on time. We may, however, occasionally run late due to an unexpected delivery or surgery complication.
